Product Overview
The HXGN15-12 box-type fixed AC metal-enclosed ring main unit (RMU) is a new type of switchgear designed for urban power grid renovation and construction. It serves as a load current interrupter and short-circuit current interrupter within the power supply system, as well as a short-circuit current closing mechanism. It is suitable for AC 3-10kV, 50Hz distribution systems. It is widely used in urban power grid construction and renovation projects, industrial and mining enterprises, high-rise buildings, and public facilities, serving as both a ring main unit and terminal equipment, distributing and controlling power, and protecting electrical equipment. It can also be installed in prefabricated substations. This RMU is equipped with a vacuum load switch and a spring-operated mechanism that can be operated manually or electrically. The grounding switch and disconnector are also manually operated. This RMU offers a highly complete package, is compact, poses no risk of combustion or explosion, and offers reliable "five protection" features.
Operating environment conditions
1. Ambient air temperature: -15°C to +40°C;
2. Altitude: 1000m or less;
3. Humidity: Daily average humidity not exceeding 95%, daily average water vapor pressure not exceeding 2.2kPa; monthly average humidity not exceeding 9%, monthly average water vapor pressure not exceeding 1.8ka.
4. Earthquake intensity: Not exceeding 8 degrees;
5. Location free from obvious contamination such as corrosive or flammable gases.

Main features
1. The ring main unit is assembled from 8MF profiles, with a full-frame mounting modular hole size of 20mm.
2. The ring main unit is equipped with an FN12-12D load switch or FZN25-12RD fuse combination unit, which features an isolating switch, a vacuum load switch, and a grounding switch. Both the isolating switch and the grounding switch have distinct cutouts.
3. The isolating switch, vacuum load switch, grounding switch, and cabinet door feature comprehensive and reliable mechanical linkage and interlocking mechanisms, effectively preventing misoperation and ensuring safe maintenance.
4. The unit can be operated manually or electrically.
5. The cabinet door and instrument door are equipped with lead seals. 6. The fuse combination cabinet and fuse tube are equipped with strikers. In the event of a short circuit, the striker strikes the tripping mechanism, enabling rapid disconnection and effectively protecting electrical equipment.
7. The ring main unit is front-operated and can be mounted against a wall. 8. "Five-Protection" Locking Function: The load switch can only be operated to the closed position when the cabinet door is closed and locked and the grounding switch is in the "open" position. The load switch can only be closed when the load switch is in the "isolating" position. When the grounding switch is in the "closed" position and the insulating partition is fully inserted, the cabinet door can be opened. The vacuum interrupter is reliably interlocked with the isolating switch, which in turn is interlocked with the grounding switch and interlocked with the cabinet door. The insulating partition is also interlocked with the cabinet door. To ensure reliable grounding continuity, the frame and internal metal components are galvanized.
